Our Beginning

It started based on the national plan to find solutions to the problems facing us as Rwandans. 25 people, with different but complementary skills and abilities, created this company.

Registration & Operations

Registered with RDB on 07/06/2016, operations started in 2018.

Location

KN 87 St, Complex Building Ltd, 2nd Floor, Door F2-02, near HOTEL OKAPI.

Today

Serving public institutions, private companies, international NGOs, and individuals across different sectors with 7 regular employees.

Licensing of Insurance Intermediaries

LAW N° 030/2021 OF 30/06/2021

GOVERNING THE ORGANISATION OF INSURANCE BUSINESS

Article 70: Categories, responsibilities, and functioning of insurance intermediaries.

Insurance intermediaries are classified into the following categories:

  • Insurance broker
  • Insurance agent
  • Bancassurance
  • Insurance loss adjuster

The Supervisory Authority may determine any other insurance intermediary category.

NB: Placier en Lieu Sûr Ltd conducted an extensive study on the profession of insurance mediators and found that, across the 4 categories provided by the law, the category of an insurance agent mediator is the best that helps it achieve its goals.

It was appointing Insurance Agents in various companies operating in Rwanda for insurance activities, representing its interests and its clients in 8 out of 9 insurance companies in the Rwandan market.
